Dr. Wack: Turning orders into structured order data.
Turn emails, PDFs and Excel files into structured order data. With reference-data checks and a dedicated review path.

One order. Different incoming formats.
Dr. O.K. Wack develops care and cleaning products. In the order-intake process examined, orders arrive as email text, PDFs and Excel files. Their contents need to be structured and checked against internal customer, address and item data.
Digamma’s task was to bring these checks into a connected workflow and provide a defined output for the next processing stage.
Capture, match and route for review.
Digamma implemented the extraction and rules workflow and tested it with real order files. Email content and attachments are processed within the same incoming context.
- Extract and normalise order data from emails, PDF and Excel files.
- Check business partners, addresses, delivery addresses and items against internal reference data.
- Generate structured TXT files for the agreed handover path.
- Route ambiguous matches and rule exceptions to a separate review path.
A defined output. A separate path for unresolved cases.
The workflow produces structured TXT files for the agreed import process. Cases requiring review are provided separately so the responsible team can resolve outstanding information.
Tested processing with defined TXT output.
Reference-data checks and separate paths for handover and human review prepare the next processing step.
The first version has been tested. Production handover and further acceptance steps follow the agreed project scope.
